How could it have been possible back then, or even worse, today, not to see the bright glaring and blaring light of socio-politico-economic truth? Yes, FDR and his New Deal programs created thousands of jobs for the down and out; but what no one anywhere really wants to discuss, is that for every four jobs created in the public (government paid) sector, five jobs were lost in the private (consumer paid) sector; and that the great, vast swarm of taxes paid into the government by these private sector working employees is what paid for all of those public sector (government) paid for jobs. And so governments at every level raised taxes even higher, and as such, more private sector jobs were lost.
